The Applications
Dream
Dream is a database and analysis tool used in the U.K. for HIRF, EMC, and EM testing. Based on MS
Access '97 and MATLAB 5, Dream has reduced test reporting times from weeks to hours for SARA's customer.

ToDream
ToDream layers shielding topology and system design information over the test data collected in Dream.
ToDream is designed for EM test-and-design requirements tracking and design analysis. ToDream has also been
designed to be used for EM requirements flowdown management. ToDream has been used by agencies and companies
involved in HIRF, EMP, HPM, and NNEMP requirement analysis and testing. It is based on Office XP, MATLAB 6,
and WINDOWS XP.

IDAWS
The Interactive Data Analysis Work Station (IDAWS) has been developed by SARA to provide a tool for
storing and analyzing EMP surveillance data for a major strategic aircraft system. It includes a flexible
definition and comparison to baseline measurements which track shielding effectiveness and other parameters
over the life of an aircraft and the fleet. IDAWS2000 includes information-rich graphical displays to
assist the analyst in detecting anomalies within minutes of a measurement.

CHADD
The Computerized Hardness Assurance Design Documentation (CHADD) is an automated information system that
contains scanned and searchable nuclear hardness documentation pertinent to a modern strategic aircraft
program. Supplier documentation is scanned, labeled with metadata, and stored in an Oracle 7 database. This
system was developed by SARA to assist in maintaining the nuclear hardness features of aircraft and
identifies potential impacts from obsolescence, parts substitutions, and system upgrades. CHADD's
documents are accessible over a wide area network. SARA upgraded CHADD in CY2000 to CHADD v2 to be fully
browser capable.
