Facility Security Officer

We are looking for a Facility Security Officer.

Requirements

  • Current (or ability to obtain) a TS Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) Oversee implementation of the DoD National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM. Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of industrial security programs, to include

  • Personnel, Physical and Oversight of Computer security
  • Handling of Classified Material
  • End of Day Check Procedures
  • Visitor Control
  • COMSEC
  • Security Education
  • Preparing for DSS Annual Security Reviews

Skills

Candidate will interact with customers daily and must be an excellent communicator in oral and written formats and have the ability to work well with a wide range of people. Must be a team player and must be capable of working independently. This position requires a security professional who can demonstrate that they have managed a security program previously. Prior security experience with the SAR customer is a bonus.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or 4-6 years of work experience in lieu of degree.
