Job Description

Scientific Applications & Research Associates (SARA), Inc is an aggressive, small, leading edge Research & Development company with a wide spectrum of technologies in commercial and military applications. We have expertise in advanced acoustic systems, CBN countermeasures, unmanned systems, magnetic and electric field detection, and high energy lasers.

Job Scope

We are seeking an exceptional engineer or scientist with a strong background in any combination of the following areas:

  • Aerodynamics
  • Acoustics
  • Fluid Dynamics
  • Combustion

Job Requirements

The candidate should have an advanced degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering, or a comparable degree in physics, such as atmospheric science. It is preferred that candidates have a strong background performing acoustics experiments & tests, and have a history of independent research and development. The evaluation process will favor candidates with demonstrated leadership skills and experience in multidisciplinary, team environments. The candidate should also have good oral and written presentation skills. U.S. citizenship and the ability to hold a security clearance are required.
